I C.A.R.E. Mentoring Network
The I C.A.R.E. (Committed, Accountable, Responsible and Engaged) Mentoring Initiative was established in 2006 in collaboration with the late Dr. Joseph Jennings.

Currently, the initiative is implemented in Fort Worth , TX and select schools that are in the Kansas City, KS Public School District.
Mentoring helps youth as they go through challenging life transitions, who are most at-risk in getting involved in drugs, gang activity and other forms of crime.
including dealing with stressful responsibilities and changes at home or transitioning to adulthood.
Pursuing MY Dreams Curriculums
FLON has 18 years of experience teaching participants age appropriate evidence-based and trauma-informed based supplemental curriculums.
The evidenced-based teaching strategies our Youth Development Specialists and Independent Contractors implement has made the greatest impact on the students, based on feedback and data results.
Financial Literacy
Financial literacy is important because it equips us with the basic skills we need to manage our personal finance—to have a foundation of knowledge to earn, spend, invest, save, budget, and borrow money to our financial health and well-being.

Without it, our financial decisions and the actions we take—or don't take—lack a solid foundation for financial success.
